The American Aging Association has a distinguished history
of peer-reviewed, scientific presentations at annual conferences that began in 1972.
Presentation summaries available from this page represent a raw, thumbnail
sketch of modern and not-so-modern aging research. The following abstracts are
presented “as is” without correction so that the history of theories and
